Download and Install
Begin by downloading the Trezor App from the official Trezor website or your device's app store. The app is available for both mobile and desktop platforms, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of devices.
2. Connect Your Trezor Device
Once the app is installed, connect your Trezor hardware wallet to your device using the provided USB cable. The app will automatically detect your device and prompt you to begin the setup process.
3. Follow the On-Screen Instructions
The Trezor App will guide you through a series of on-screen instructions to set up your hardware wallet. This typically involves choosing a device name, setting up a PIN code, and generating a recovery seed.
4. Secure Your Recovery Seed
During the setup process, you'll be prompted to generate a recovery seed—a sequence of words that serves as a backup of your private keys. Write down this seed on the recovery seed card provided or on a piece of paper and store it in a safe and secure location.
5. Complete the Setup
